Know Jesus

God Loves You.

And He invites you into life with Him through His Son, Jesus. Here’s the good news, simply told.

The Good News

Who Jesus Is and What He Has Done

01

God Made You for Himself

God created you in His image to know Him and enjoy life with Him (Genesis 1:27). He loves you more than you can imagine: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

02

Sin Separates Us From God

All of us have turned from God to go our own way. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Sin breaks our relationship with Him, and “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). We can’t fix it on our own.

03

Jesus Came for Us

“God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Jesus lived the perfect life we couldn’t, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). He is alive, and He offers forgiveness and new life.

How to Respond

Turn to Jesus. Trust Him.

By grace
Salvation is a free gift you can’t earn. “By grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works” (Ephesians 2:8–9).
Through faith
Turn from your sin and trust Jesus as your Lord. “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
Next Steps

Where Do I Go From Here?

Is there a prayer I can pray?

You can talk to God in your own words. If it helps, you might pray something like this: “Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and I can’t save myself. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins and rising again. I turn from my sin and trust You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for Your forgiveness and new life. Amen.” These words don’t save you; Jesus does. What matters is your heart turning from sin and trusting Him.

I just put my trust in Jesus. Now what?

We’d love to celebrate with you and help you take your next step. Pastor Bryan is glad to meet with anyone after either Sunday service, or you can email us anytime at hello@themillchurch.cc.

Should I be baptized?

Baptism is a public way of declaring your faith in Jesus and an important step of obedience. Visit our Baptism page to learn more and sign up.
